Confused as to why he felt like this and concerned that he couldn’t motivate himself, let alone his team, he visited the camp’s mental health nurse. An eye-opening book about the effects of PTSD and how sufferers were treated by the British military in the early 2000s. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Jason Fox talks to intrepid travellers, adventurers and heroes about their incredible experiences and howthey found mental and physical resilience. These adverts enable local businesses to get in front of their target audience – the local community. The route will pass through part of the eastern Pacific Gyre, a large-scale accumulation zone of plastic pollution. Jason Fox joined the Royal Marine Commandos at sixteen, serving for ten years, after which he passed the gruelling selection process for the Special Forces, serving with the Special Boat Service for over a decade and reaching the rank of Sergeant. Rising to the rank of Sergeant, Foxy was respected and well regarded as being generally indestructible, making his PTSD diagnosis and medical discharge all the more surprising to those around him. At the point of starting this book I was in a hole in terms of my mental health having been diagnosed with PTSD and depression.

It appears there are a few women in this book who have been damage limitation as a result of his life in the SAS. I cut away some of the toxic relationships that were taking place in my life, because they were dragging me in the wrong direction. Foregoes the clinical language and uses military metaphors to make it accessible to the average person. So a chance to join Special Forces came at the perfect time – as they’re often in active service, even in peacetime. I’ve had some incredible experiences – some good, some bad – and I genuinely feel honoured that people want to hear about them. When we’re out filming, there’s a team of people all working together to get a job done under some tough conditions. Fox's interviews in the series included Popeye (Jhon Jairo Velásquez) – known as one of Pablo Escobars' hitmen in Colombia. You could have a team that works well in the workspace, and then all they want to do is disappear, and that’s fine.
