About this deal

This book from the very first page drew me in and made me want to know more with every page turn I couldn’t recommend this book highly enough.

In all honesty, I had fallen out of love a little with Cecelia Ahern’s books which was really disappointing as some of her early books are my favourite reads. a rich tapestry, full of characters seeking love and acceptance on their life's journey' Patricia Scanlan 'Such a beautiful, tender and moving story' Sinead Moriarty 'Highly original, fresh and exciting' Hazel Gaynor Cecelia Ahern's book In a Thousand Different Ways was a Sunday Times bestseller w/c 17-04-2023. All the while Alice is trying to come to terms with a unique ability, one which is simultaneously her critical weakness and her superpower. This was my first title by Cecilia Aherne and I was thoroughly engrossed in the story and am now keen to discover more of her writing. It was one of those books that I became totally absorbed in, not light hearted as I normally enjoy, but contemplative especially towards the end. Alice, the narrator, describes the course of her life, from dysfunctional childhood home in Ireland to building a life for herself in London. Understanding these three rhetorical tools can help you better form your own arguments, and you might be surprised how easy it is to spot these appeals among politicians, advertisers and everyday people in your life. She is immersed in the turmoil of other people’s emotions until she finds a way of existing in society.

In someway she does but through a wonderful journey of discovery, finding yourself and maybe find true love along the way. Cecelia Ahern has a way of writing her stories, so the words literally bounce off the page and wrap you in a warm hug. The descriptions of the colours related to a persons mood or character must have taken a lot of thought and connected up different elements of the story well.

Speaking of light, she sees colorful lights around people (auras) which overwhelm her when she is a child and help her know who to trust when she is older.

And finally, we’ll look at the rules of how to read and react to light; it’s this, more than anything, that can make or break a photo. Her love of being out in nature and her growing understanding of plants through seeing their moods and colours was fascinating and and, for her, life-changing. Through there is only three chapters of book, it makes sense why its just three with just chapter titles not chapters. So, adding some orange in your bedroom or working place will be really motivational and will boost energy throughout the day.We could add Karin Slaughter, Lee Child, Aimee Bender, Audrey Niffenegger, Andrew Kaufman, Sinéad O’Connor and Louise O’Neill to that and it’d be perfect. From romantic comedies to sci-fi, musicals to thrillers, I’ve lived in stories for the majority of my life. Not only will it give you a more natural perspective, you won’t have the boring foreground in sharp focus, and you’ll be able to include a creatively blurred backdrop. Slowly, with the help of true friends and nature, which never fails to heal, she learns to control her gift and live her own life.
