Description

Everything from gaming headsets, earbuds, and speakers to keyboards and a highly popular line of gaming mice, Logitech G has successfully solidified Logitech’s presence in the gaming peripherals space. The Logitech Gaming official logo. (From: https://logodix.com/logos/609301) Connectivity-wise, the G535 pairs automatically with the included USB dongle. Simply connect the dongle to the USB port on your PC or PS4/5, power up the G535, and the headset will automatically connect. The G535 uses Logitech’s Lightspeed wireless technology and I have had no latency issues, as well as being able to actually walk around my flat without much trouble or dropouts.

When it comes to giving a comfortable experience, the ease of adjustability and the padding make the Logitech G535 a winner. Pros of the Logitech G535 When we take a look at the G535 build quality, there isn’t really much to rave about. The headset’s frame is made entirely of painted plastic, and I wouldn’t count on it withstanding too many drops. However, I can attest that it isn’t cheap flimsy plastic. Lastly, these headsets are not portable because their bulky body does not allow room for folding. The Comfort of the G733 It’s possible that the G535 is a Best Buy exclusive a la the HyperX Cloud Core Wireless and that they’re just not marketing it, but that’s so weird. Usually a new headset launch is accompanied by proud PR materials and fancy videos, not silence.

Connectivity

These headsets are relatively lightweight and have a good supportive headband that doesn’t clamp your head too tightly. Logitech’s headsets have always been a little left-field in terms of looks, be it the aircraft headset-inspired looks of the G Pro X Wireless, to the ski-band headband of this Logitech G535 Lightspeed. Multimedia controls are some of the simplest I’ve seen, with just a power button and volume roller. There isn’t a microphone mute function, or a chat/game audio mixer, which is a shame given the G535 Lightspeed’s price. The G535 Lightspeed’s connectivity is as easy as it could possibly be too, with a single USB-A dongle that instantly recognized the headset when plugged into my PC. After a thorough review of the two Logitech Wireless headphones, I am going to compare these two and see what differentiates them in terms of their design, features as well as performance. However, that’s canceled out by their overly emphasized mid and high bass. You can enjoy that extra boom and groove through these headsets.

Moreover, the G535’s passive soundstage is much more open and natural as compared to Logitech’s G733. Battery Life Whereas, the G733 offers great options for customization through its integrated software which makes it ideal for gamers who love personalized gear on their hands. Audio Leakage The Logitech G733 is a decent and well-built wireless gaming headphone. They have a lightweight design which is mostly made of plastic, but it also features a cloth headband. Inside, we find a reinforced cardboard insert box that slides out and houses the headset, which is nicely fastened into place to prevent movement. There is a separate box adorned with the phrase “keep playing,” inside of which we find the charging cable. The outer and inner boxes. Apart from the decent and comfortable fit, each cup of this headset is well padded with memory foam and also features a hard-fabric cover. These covers lend breathability over long gaming sessions.

They deliver all of the important aspects that a gaming headset should: a neutral sound profile, decent audio reproduction quality, detail, and a clear and responsive microphone. That isn’t to say that the build quality is poor, more like average, and is what I expect from a low to mid-range gaming headset. The frame is sturdy, and the headset is easy to stow away and transport when needed. Some other headsets feature a microphone that can be moved and adjusted easily (made of flexible steel, for example). I find the G535 microphone build somewhat limiting, but it’s not a deal breaker. Mic Quality But on the brighter side, users can easily modify the Logitech G733’s out-of-the-box sound profile via audio presets or a graphic EQ in the Logitech G HUB companion software. The G535 is framed almost exactly the same as the G733, with a slim, flexible, plastic coated frame with a suspension headband rather than integrated padding, embracing the ski-goggle-like material trend that started with Steel Series. The frame is nothing special, but it’s clean, lightweight and can withstand me twisting it and sitting on it with next to no issues (yes I actually sat on my headset).
