So bedroom 2, 9*11ft. Model room with secondary use during night pull out bed. I can dream (Dart Herald nightmare) among my models.

One problem I had was the garage door which fitted in only various places allowing wind thro agitating dust. Put some in a container (old margarine tub / yoghurt tub etc). Dump the business end of the airbrush in the cleaner and leave it for about 30 minutes. Scrub the bits with a stiff paint brush. Strip the working parts and leave them in some fresh cleaner for a while longer if needs be... Or just to be sure. That will sort it. Remove the needle to clean. Use the other end of cotton swab to clean out the airbrush cap on the front end.Been using this for a while, works very well. Only thing i find a problem is getting the last of the spray out of the can. You know its in there but tried, shaking and more shaking even soaking can in hot water but usually end up throwing can out! Anybody else have this issue?? First I flush out with two or three cups of water with compressor as high as possible. Preserves airbrush cleaner.

The Iwata Medea airbrush cleaning station is a great for controlling and containing your waste from airbrush cleaner I don't recommend flushing Tamiyas through with water.....I use Revell Aqua Cleaner or IPA to flush through until all paint is removed. I then flush through with water to finish off. I have had no problem whatsoever using Tamiya acrylics through my H & B Evolution. I use both Tamiya and Xtracrylic thinners all the time - mostly Xtracrylic thinner - and that works well for me in making the Tamiya flow well through the brush. I was also told to use Nail paint remover, so another vote for Acetone. Acetone seems a good start point, "shiny shiny" suits me....Also told to use car windscreen cleaner. This Iwata Medea Airbrush Cleaner works well but like many name brand products, it’s absurdly expensive. Even though the above process sounds a bit long winded, it actually only takes a couple of minutes each time and becomes sop much part of the proceedings, that you hardly notice it. Secondly, what you’re actually buying is, for the most part, a mix of water, concentrated detergent and alcohol. A lot of other cheaper cleaners are made up of the same or very similar stuff. There’s really no reason to use such spendy cleaners in your airbrush when a readily available and much cheaper substitute can be used. I just need a dedicated spray room. Mmm flat balcony na Pauline needs it for her plants. Tut what to do what to do

Keeping your airbrush clean is fundamental to having a hassle free and fun airbrushing experience so it’s a good idea to develop a good cleaning regimen. It’s also important to have the right tools and cleaning agents to keep that airbrush working well. Today we’re going to talk about saving money on airbrush cleaner. What Kind of Cleaner Can You Use To Clean Your Airbrush? Just add i am using Vallejo Cleaner. However the best I have found as paint just disappears as you spray it on. Acetone for both Acrylics and Enamels and it works hundreds... the Acetone cleans it up shiny shiny. I was wondering to see if I could buy some for myself, because then I get the handy bottle with its brush, and the cheaper “cement” from the airbrush cleaner. I’ll be moving for Uni soon, so I will be leaving my leaving my almost empty bottle of extra thin at home, since I can get cement when I get there.

I use Revell Aqua Cleaner or IPA to flush through until all paint is removed. I then flush through with water to finish off. and whats the cause of that paint blob on the needle, this was simple medium size spray pattern, just laying colour down. The one area where I do go bulk is using car screenwash to clean acrylics out of my airbrush. Saves a lot compared to Tamiya X-20A, which I limit to its primary use to thin their paints… For cleaning out the brush, after every session, I use Spraycraft or Liquid Reamer cleaner from an aerosol can. I think they are essentially the same product and are quite strong. As a final part of the process, I then spray some tap water through the brush to clear out any remaining cleaner. After a friend gave me some advice, I've now started using Acetone for both Acrylics and Enamels and it works hundreds...

There are a lot of different products that are suitable for cleaning an airbrush. These range from name brand products made by the same companies that make airbrushes and airbrush paint, to run of the mill household items that you probably already have under the sink or in the garage. Only one very big problem, the booth although its big it only just takes Darings hull, so KGV etc will not fit, aaarrrgghh I found that Tamiya Airbrush cleaner is good, but it still tended to leave traces of paint in the sleeve, but the Acetone cleans it up shiny shiny.

Then I use a cotton wool swab soaked with Vallejo Airbrush cleaner to remove congealed paint in the cup before it gets down into the nozzle.
