Much like other 3A figures, Blitzwing comes with light-up eyes that can be activated using two LR-44 batteries. I'm liking this more and more as I keep transforming it. Once I got how to position the arms down pat it's a really nice transformation. In Jet mode, Pretty Good Jet. If you only focus the top part and ignore the tank parts, I guess there's nothing against it. TRANSFORMERS G1-INSPIRED DESIGN: This Legacy Series Transformers 7-inch Blitzwing robot toy is inspired by the animated series, The Transformers, updated with a Generations-style design

Robot mode is great, tank mode is very strong, jet mode in hand (IMHO) looks better than pictures make it out to be. Yes, it can be awful from certain angles and it's far and away the weakest mode, but there are plenty of bad jets out there that don't have an extra mode either; it's always strange the way people can shred planes for having underside kibble when cars that have the entire robot clearly hiding under the alt mode shell get a pass. Now, that's not to say I love the jet mode or think it's great, far from it, just that some of the complaints feel a bit much.

Moving on from these stupid things in a hurry, transforming him into his other modes is fairly complex without crossing over into the realm of complicated or fiddly. It's fun to do which I think is essential for a triple changer, though as with many of his three-way brethren, one mode always looks worse than the others. And as usual with Blitzkrieg, it’s the jet mode. This TRANSFORMERS: LEGACY 13-inch COMMANDER DECEPTICON MOTORMASTER robot toy is inspired by the animated series, The Transformers, updated with a Generations-style design. MOTORMASTER wants to be known as “King of the Road” and will run down anyone sharing his highway! Like the others of his body type seen on Cybertron (with the exception of Starscream) Blitzwing has an apparatus resembling a flight helmet's oxygen mask on his face. While it was assumed this was simply the design of his mouth region, a more conventional mouth underneath can be seen when Bumblebee stabs him through the shoulder (00:09:27 on the Blu-ray). Let's not mince our words: Blitzwing really, really looks like Starscream. First off, his design is based on the classic Generation 1 Seeker body-type (which is used by multiple other characters in the film), but with vehicle kibble of an F-4 Phantom II instead of an F-15 Eagle. Second, he is wearing the classic red and greyish-white colors of the original Starscream. I dont know...I really love the robot mode with Blitzwing. Hell, his tank mode isn't THAT bad. But the third jet mode makes me think that the design team had to make a decision between spending the last of the budget on this or morning coffee, and java won.

ULTRA MAGNUS has become bored with warfare. Having ended more sparks than he can count, he sets his sights on something greater: The destruction of the universe! Discover a universe that shatters everything you know about the Transformers robots…an upside-down world where the bad guys are good, and the good guys are bad. Welcome to Shattered Glass, an alternate universe where the heroic DECEPTICONS battle the evil AUTOBOTS. Fans can explore this topsy-turvy reality with the TRANSFORMERS Shattered Glass Collection, featuring classic characters with a twist! Look for other Shattered Glass figures to build the ultimate alternate universe collection (each sold separately, subject to availability). Prime 1 Studio Museum Masterline Blitzwing is a huge non-transforming sculpture. The statue is made of polystone along with other materials and features light-up LED eyes. Quite Posable. However, the shoulders be warned. There are some flaps on the front of the shoulders that may need to be moved when lifting the arms. I highly recommend this figure, especially since this is probably the best representation of Blitzwing compared to the past figures. Things to be warned is to be careful when transforming because of hard to peg parts and maybe a few flimsy folds. I give this figure a 9 out of 10. Any questions or requests, feel free to ask (But only if I have the time and the figures).Titans return one was really fun. Ive since sold mine, but I really liked him and megatron in that mold as well. Honestly, the bot mode suffered on that one, to make both alts modes better if you ask me. Its still a cool one, but not the best.

I still love Animated..Dont care whatcha say. I cant rate it. Yeah, Its kinda piss poor in some ways, but its also of extravagant quality of the animated toys, and all modes are just SO damn fun and cool looking. I mean..if you cant look at his tank mode..and not think "thats pretty cool" Then I dunno what to say..Its funky..but fun. The Battle at Half Dome has Soundwave mentioning that he made a bet with Blitzwing to see which of them could reduce a human into at least one kilounit of water; considering this, it's possible that Blitzwing was a crew member of the Nemesis. Here it is: my last part of my review for Legacy Leader Class Blitzwing. Its time to focus on the much maligned "jet" mode. Released by Killerbody, this non-converting super deformed Blitzwing features a shaking head, light-up eyes and shoulder articulation. It still looks dumb, but furthers it from the idea that this is supposed to be a realistic jet. Its goofy, but kinda interesting in a strange way.Got mine a few days ago. The connections are much more secure compared to the TR figure and especially compared to the T30 figure. This 1 connects solidly in all 3 modes. It doesn’t feel sloppy nor fiddly at all. Blitzwing's involvement in the preceding events, or events mostly similar, were also chronicled in the novel Transformers: Bumblebee: The Junior Novel.

My biggest complaint is the hulk hands. They are quite useless and any extra that could be spent on the main figure I'm always for. Blitzwing was part of Megatron's band of Decepticons, chasing down the Autobots who had rediscovered the long-lost AllSpark. He was visibly frustrated (though he maintained his "Icy" persona) when Megatron along with the Autobots disappeared through a Space Bridge gate. The Cool Extra #3 He comes with a null-ray blaster which can replace his right hand. The exclusive version also comes with the Electron Spike Blade which can replace his left hand.

Blitzwing not only has three modes (robot, jet, and tank), he also has three alternate personalities (an "Icy" cold strategist, a short-tempered "Hothead", and a total "Random" nutcase) along with the faces rattling around in his head to go with them. [1] He's as liable to have a conversation with himself as he is to say a word to his fellow Decepticons. Pretty much the only thing that keeps him in line is that all three of his personalities are scared to death of Megatron.
