About this deal

Henry Wash has all the wet features that George Hoover has, including a wet filter, wet tools in the form of a carpet, upholstery and hard floor extraction tools, and a shampoo facility that is controlled by a trigger. Really good tools but I had measured the diameter of my vacuum cleaner pipe incorrectly and they wouldn’t fit! I bought an adapter and now they fit! The turbo tool is particularly good for pet hair.

There is a reason everyone calls vacuum cleaners hoovers - Hoover vacuums were the dominant force when vacuums were becoming popular and they have stayed popular ever since. Nowadays you can choose from handheld, upright and cylinder types of vacuums, meaning that they have kept up with the times. So, whether you prefer bagged, or bagless, upright or handheld. Our large range means we have the right vacuum cleaners for your home. Edge cleaning – The suction abilities are strong but the floor-head design meant there was a little powder left close to the door. There is an all-purpose nozzle which comes with a removable brush, designed to make things easier when cleaning furniture and stairs. There is also a hose adapter for smaller and more confined surfaces.George’s hose is slightly longer than the majority of other Numatic vacuums, which means he should be able to reach the top of an average flight of stairs. As he isn’t the lightest machine to move around, being able to leave George at the bottom of the stairs whilst you clean is a helpful bonus. Much like the loved Numatic Henry, the Numatic Charles has a friendly face on the front, but this big brother can clear liquid spillages, too. It’s equally robust as the Herny, equipped with a long hose, huge 10m power cable for plenty of reach, a powerful 1060W motor, and a good range of cleaning accessories for different flooring and hard-to-reach areas. His grandmother basically just says, ‘You’re bound for more important things,’” says Kent Blansett, a professor of Indigenous studies and history at the University of Kansas who is a Cherokee, Creek, Choctaw, Shawnee and Potawatomi descendant from the Blanket, Panther and Smith families. Blansett notes that Curtis’ grandmother wasn’t telling Curtis to turn away from his people, but to help his people by taking another path. George has a huge capacity and it’s easy to switch between dry and wet modes. Due to his capacity, it has to be said that George is fairly heavy, but thanks to his wheels he takes some of the weight when you’re moving him around. The larger than normal hose means you move him less than you would a traditional vacuum cleaner.

The bags themselves that come with George vacuum are the Numatic HepaFlo bags. You should get four bags with George and they are large and built to last, so you shouldn’t need to replace them very often. As mentioned above, George has a large 9 litre dust bag capacity when cleaning in dry mode, and it takes a lot of vacuuming to fill bags of that size. For wet vacuuming there is the fishtail extraction nozzle which is designed to be used on carpet. This tool is great for shampooing and scrubbing dirt out of carpets and does a great job at removing tough stains.

Included in the box is a good selection of accessories including a crevice tool, soft dusting brush, upholstery nozzle and slide-on Brush. We especially liked the dusting brush for its long soft bristles, which worked well on our office chairs and keyboards. All of the tools simply push on to the decent-length, 2.4m flexible hose. This is a tough piece of tubing amply capable of being the tow-rope for Charles as you move around the room. You get all of the accessories you need for wet and dry spills Numatic Charles Wet/Dry Vacuum – It’s a versatile wet and dry vacuum with a great range of tools In terms of appearance, Numatic George is similar to the rest of the Henry family with his smiling face and bright eyes. He is green in colour and therefore is most similar to Harry the Hoover from the Henry range. The upholstery nozzle is a powerful accessory that will go to town on the interior of a car as well as furniture. As mentioned earlier, this tool would be perfect for car valeting. There is also the hard floor head which is the tool to use on hard surfaces. It was in the House that Curtis introduced “An Act for the Protection of the People of Indian Territory,” commonly known as the Curtis Act of 1898. This act built on the Dawes Act of 1887, which had introduced the policy of “allotment.” Under this policy, the U.S. government forcibly broke up Native American reservations—where land and resources were communally shared—into privately-held properties. Native people who couldn’t afford to maintain their “allotments” lost them, allowing white Americans to buy the land and move into what was once a reservation.

If you’re looking for a powerful vacuum cleaner that can be relied upon to clean both wet and dry surfaces, you’d be hard pressed to find a better solution than George the Hoover. George is a great all-in-one vacuum that is more than adequate at cleaning both dry and wet surfaces. Due to his extra-long hose and useful adapters, George is great for cleaning all types of surfaces, including carpets, hard floors, upholstery, stairs and the car. He also is the only vacuum in the Numatic range that has a shampoo facility, so if you want a carpet cleaner as well as a hard floor wet vacuum cleaner, George is a great option.
