About this deal

Fixed an issue where you couldn't collect ushabti souls or complete Slayer Contracts while on a Mandrith Wilderness Task. This includes bears, blue dragons, cave crawlers, banshees, crawling hands, infernal mages, aberrant spectres, kurasks, desert lizards, zygomites, suqah, spiritual warriors, rangers and mages, jadinkos and tormented demons. Paint the complete mini in Ushabti Bone. Remember to apply as a glaze, in very thin layers. Because you primed the mini white it should be simple to get solid coverage in just a couple of coats. It is very important to keep this stage as smooth and clean as possible. So, take your time. Most of surface painted with Basalt Grey. 1:1 mix of Basalt and Stonewall Grey on upper half. Top edge Stonewall Grey. Skulls If you noticed the scheme on the Armiger and the Tyrants are different from The Green Knight’s, you’d be right because I really didn’t like the old scheme. The initial thought was for The Green Knight to be sworn to the death guard so I used their traditional scheme for it…Even though my Death Guard aren’t the normal Death Guard scheme…Yeah I dunno. Anyway these Armigers needed their own identity, and from there House Gloam was born. The paint formula was made to be simple but stand out on the table and allow weird fleshy bits to stand out and be harmonious against it. Here’s the breakdown:

http://www.wargamesfoundry.com - also do a range of similar to Citadel paints, will update when can get chance. If you want to add any extra definition in recesses, I would receommend doing a deep recess shade with some thin Dryad Bark and a thin brush. Tip: Add small amounts of Dark Reaper or Sons of Horus Green into the shade-stages to vary the tone of the skin. The techniques I’ll show you will range from easy to advanced. Sometimes you just need to get something done, and other times you want that skull to be a focal point. I’ve got you covered either way. The base layer for the bone was a 2:1 mixture of Rakarth Flesh and Naggaroth Night, which would give a slight purple tint to the bone color but not enough to be noticed. In the pictures, perhaps due to just mixing at different times, you can see Vorkmortian is a bit more ‘purple’ than the others, but it is easy to fix or balance with layers, of which you’ll end up doing quite a lot here.Apply thinned Agrax Earthshade (50:50 Agrax Earthshade : Lahmian Medium) as a recess shade. This means you just want to run the shade into the grooves and edges of the armour and not all over the model. If you make a mistake, simply let it dry and tidy up with some Ushabti Bone.

The first thing after assembly was to reduce the largest seams, especially on the chest. A dot of superglue was put down on a surface then a paperclip was used to transfer the glue to the seam. Liquid superglue will tend to seep into the seam and mostly fill it in. I did this anywhere I could easily see the gaps where two pieces came together. Some gaps may need a couple layers and could benefit from being sanded when the glue dries. The paint will also fill in the gaps a bit more.I wanted the illusion of melting snow, but also the idea that it was fresh, as if falling from the pillar due to her clinging to it. Credit: Kenji Hi everyone, here’s another Brushstroke tutorial. This time we’re looking at how to paint Imperial Fists for a unique way of painting yellow armour. One of the models is eating an arm, and I wanted to really push the distinction between the skin tone on that and the tone on the ghoul. To this end I painted a really warm ruddy tone on the army, using Cadian Fleshtone, Reikland and then highlighting up with mixed in Ushbati Bone.
