Description

One of the first things you’ll notice when comparing the M2R PRO with the Warrior 3 is the side switch. The switch is renewed and has indicator LEDs on both sides. The left side shows the output mode, and the right side shows the battery level. Apart from that, the medium mode hits the perfect middle ground when it comes to brightness and runtime, 200 lumens for 13 hours, that amount of light and runtime also make this a worthy everyday carry light. I haven’t tested Low and Moon, because they would run fo 130 hours and 55 days respectively. Olight Warrior 3S vs Warrior 3 vs Warrior M2R PRO The Olight Warrior Mini 3 seems to be a worthy successor to the popular Warrior Mini line of flashlights. Output is higher, throw is farther, size is smaller – what else would you want? Well, they’ve also improved the tail switch, and I’d say the side e-switch is improved, too. It’s a great little light! Long Review The Big Table Olight Warrior Mini 3 (Forest Green) Flashlight

The tail switch has 2 menu configurations, besides being a unique 2-stage switch. The default configuration is half-press (first stage) for Medium and Full press (second stage) for Turbo. In mode configuration 2, you have half-press for Turbo and full-press for Strobe. It is powered using the included Olight 21700 5000 mAh customised lithium-ion battery, which is recharged inside the torch using the included MCC3 magnetic charging cable. Simply connect the magnet to the base of the Warrior 3S and plug the USB-A end into a USB power source. The indicator light on the magnet will go red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete after approximately 5 hours, 30 minutes when using a 5V, 2A output. For high-output lights, one of the lux meters uses an ND camera filter to prevent the lux meter to max out. This is either the Kenko PRO1D ND16 up till about 80,000 lumens or Gobe ND32 for anything above.Thailand,https://www.olightstore.co.th/warriorx3-1.html /upfiles/goods/24387f17c2c54f3a7ade720be60b7be6_1651915676092.jpg,/upfiles/goods/8c57554e57932d64145dc705029a2af9_1651915772565.jpg,/upfiles/goods/bc8934720aa51ee68def71e95b2823ae_1651915772566.jpg,/upfiles/goods/980059a32dbb55e2c38e002b4785a7c8_1651915772567.jpg,/upfiles/goods/1297454b61de6772bd44580aab3ba3e3_1651915772568.jpg,/upfiles/goods/dbed872347ed959f539cf19fa33bf4bc_1651915772569.jpg,/upfiles/goods/a961afaa18505f1641d33055da0b6a3c_1651915772571.jpg,/upfiles/goods/a2714f6f1822bedb8e82cd9806f6f94a_1651915772573.jpg The bezel is the typical Olight blue and crenulated, with 3 zirconium beads for breaking glass. And no, uou can’t unscrew the bezel. Olight glues on all of their lights (Loctite) so you can’t take them apart without force or a great amount of heat. The default configuration has 4 options. Medium (Momentary on), Medium (continuous), Turbo (Momentary On), and Turbo (continuous). There is a battery level indicator built into the side switch that lets you know when the battery needs charging. A green light indicates above 60% power, a orange light indicates 10% - 60 % power a red light indicates 10% - 5% power and a red flashing light indicates less than 5% power and that the torch needs to be charged.

Waterproofing: What Warrior minds a bit of rain? Well, the Warrior 3 is like a Navy Seal when it comes to its ability to withstand the weather. It’s rated at an IPX8, which means it can be submerged to a depth of 1 meter or more and still work. The threads are pretty short, and it only takes 2.5 turns to remove the battery tube from the head. This is likely enough to stay put! Plus, they are anodized. The above results are based on ANSI/NEMA FL1-2009 standard and are tested using the included battery. It is capable of 2300 lumens output on the highest turbo setting, before dropping down to 800 lumens after 2.5 minutes constant use, and then after a further 2 hours 40 minutes the output will drop again to 250 lumens to prevent the LED from overheating. The LED has been changed to a cool white LED, which combined with a TIR reflector produces a standard defined hot spot with a spill light for a the perfect all round beam profile, and can reach up to a maximum of 300 metres beam range. I try to use rounded lumen numbers, except for maybe Low or Moonlight/Firefly modes. Olight Warrior Mini 3 Battery life and runtime How Runtimes are Measured: Understanding ANSI FL1 Standards About ANSI FL1 runtime standards: The runtime is measured until the light drops to 10% of its initial output (30 seconds after turning on). This does not mean that the flashlight is not usable anymore. The last column shows how long the light actually works till it shuts off. If there is a + symbol, it means that the test was stopped at that particular point, but the light was actually still running. This happens on certain occasions, with certain drivers, firmware, or batteries.

The redesigned tactical tail switch is now created using Nano Moulding Technology for easy maintenance and provides stronger magnetism. The tactical tail switch is a quiet press button with minimal noise for tactical purposes and can be used in two modes; either configuration 1 or configuration 2. The torch default setting is configuration 1 and to switch to configuration 2 you deep press and hold the tail switch then single press the side switch. In Configuration 1 the tail switch will provide mid output with a half press or turbo output with a full press, and can provide momentary operation by holding down the button either half or fully. Configuration 2 will provide turbo output with a half press or strobe with a full press. This flashlight is rated IPX8 waterproof, which means you won’t have to worry about dropping this flashlight in water. It can be submerged in upt o 2 meters of water. The side switch features brightness level and battery level indicators, giving real-time lumen and battery levels. Please note: *The high setting after 2.5 minutes run-time will decrease to 1000 lumens to protect the LED from overheating, and will drop again after 1 hour, 40 minutes. The output measurements in this review are based on my homemade integrating spheres, each equipped with an Extech SDL400 Lux Meter. For consistency and accuracy, a calibration light (Convoy S2+ with 249lm and a Convoy S2+ with 261lm) is measured prior to each set of lumen measurements.
