To do this, you adopt the power of the very breaches from which these extraplanar monstrosities appear, charging up powerful abilities and unleashing spells with unmatched potency. At least, that’s your goal at the beginning of the campaign. You begin as apprentices, far from the power level of master mages that seek to teach you. Through multiple chapters, players co-operate to defeat each new nemesis, harnessing new abilities and upgrading your equipment and supply cards to combat each new threat as it appears. Like the cards says, stop now if you don’t want to read any spoliers Spoiler Central What’s In The Box? This is one of the best cooperative games I've ever played, partly because it's tough. Every fight feels brutal, but not impossible. The Taste There have been several expansions since, thanks to the game’s popularity and success, and today we’re going to take a look at one of them – Aeon’s End Legacy. The biggest difference between this version and the others in the series is that word on the end of the title, “legacy”. The players take the role of powerful mages who are tasked with the responsibility of preventing Gravehold from being overrun by hordes of creatures escaping from the breaches.Welcome to Gravehold. Yes, it's as bad as it sounds. This is the last bastion of humanity, protected only by a group of 'Breach Mages'. You are a student of the craft, and your magic skills are... to put it kindly, like being caressed by a natural yoghurt. (Wow so many Mighty Boosh references lately). The Nameless won't stop coming. They want nothing more than to wipe you out and destroy your pitiful settlement. Only you haven't finished all your lessons. You'll have to learn by doing. kaland (8 gy, 2 v) után írom az összegzést, melyhez azonban korábbi, pakliépítési mechanizmusra kitalált játékok tapasztalata járul hozzá. Ajánlom azoknak, akik szívesen játszanak pakliépítős mechanizmussal, bírják a kooperatív szemléletmódot tehát tudnak a csapat sikerének örülni. A szabályok fordításánál az ősellenség paklijának összeállítása rész nehezebben érthető, de a játék ennek ellenére megérdemli a játékosok figyelmét. The original Aeon’s End: Legacy saw players become young apprentices who must band together to face off against the might of The Nameless. Legacy had player characters gaining experience with each session they completed, steadily obtaining the spells, abilities and equipment they needed to fulfill their destiny. A large expansion adding more variety to the core set. This set features harder fights, and is a good place to go to for greater challenges. Some mages use custom breaches and tokens. Many spells give constant effects while prepped, and gain extra conditional effects when cast.

This set adds a new gamemode, Outcast mode, which replaces Gravehold with an ally mage capable of casting custom abilities to help the players. Many keywords return from previous sets, including LINK and ATTACH, and there are more Treasures for expeditions. Outcasts is everything good about the series but intensified. Each new envelope contains a new puzzle good enough for its own game, while the core feeling of ‘we’re never going to do this’ giving way to punching the air when you snatch victory from defeat remains tantalisingly exciting.

So as well as the things mentioned above, there’s plenty to open. The boxes A-D contain new tokens that come into play in certain chapters, and it’s really exciting to be instructed to open one ahead of a new chapter. It’s like a mini Christmas. Gems (11): Darklite Sample, Nebula Shard, Scrying Sugilite, Starglass, Sunken Onyx, Cobalt Clump, Glint Splinter, Voidsteel Vein, Aether Dust, Frozen Light, Shattered Rupix All base games are here, Aeon's End, War Eternal, Legacy, The New Age, Outcasts, Legacy of Gravehold and Past & Future. Aeon's End: Shattered Dreams társasjáték Kiegészítő 4000 Ft-tól! - 1 felhasználó és 2 üzlet árulja ezt a játékot! For established Aeon’s End fanatics, there is a decent amount of content to keep you entertained. Terminology and difficulty are both turned down so it feels less exciting at first, but for the kind of value it offers I can’t begrudge it. The most exciting part for me has been the new Nemeses more than the cards, but there are some cards I would love to test further. The prospect of building your own mage to play with in other Aeon’s End games post-campaign excites me, and I relish the opportunity to try them in active combat once I’ve reached the end of the campaign.

This is not the Legacy version of the game, rather, just the cards that come with it. I do not have a reset kit and have already played through Legacy. Games are rated for how salty (competitive), tasty (replayable) and spicy (original) they are. The Salt

Elsőnek lenni jó!

This can be played with 1 – 4 players. I did it just myself, but I played with two mages whose names where “Walter” and “Donnie”. I just wanted to yell “you’re out of your element Donnie” often which I did. This is all a Big Lebowski reference for those unfamiliar. There are four different mages cards but this is just cosmetic, they all start the same and can all be customized in the 500 different ways or whatever ridiculous number was figured out by the designer for how much customization there is. By playing with 2, that means in a round of six turns, it was 2 each player and 2 nemesis.
