You know there are some books make you hooked up, glued to your hands and occupied your mind and soul so you barely breathe and function till you finish it. But in the meantime you wish it never finishes because you’re having so much fun and adrenaline, excitement, endorphin make you high! You want more! And you start to punch the walls because there is only one chapter left and you’re getting closer to finish it and you’re gonna love it so much and you start to compare the other books with it and you see that most of your reads turn into meaningless, boring experiences. Then there is the unknown male narrator (a/k/a the creepy AF voice). Way to give me the heebie jeebies dude! By the end of revelation you will get the answer of Who? and Why? but you will be confused to answer how? I open the plastic carry case and put one of my carefully constructed cupcakes down on the pavement, between her cardboard box and the wall, so that she’ll see it when she wakes. Then, worried she might not like or appreciate my chocolate frosting—for all I know she could be diabetic—I take a twenty-pound note from my purse and slide it underneath. I don’t mind if she spends my money on alcohol; I do. Anna Andrews is a local TV reporter. She’s been given what looks to be the opportunity of her career. Her assignment, cover a murder that just happens to be in the village where she grew up. What a huge break! This should give her the “in” she craves. Only covering this crime may be a little too close to home for Anna to be impartial.

This whole experience reminds me of buying a sandwich from a pricey shop, it looked good, it seemed like your sort of thing, you wanted to like it, but there was just no substance to it, ITleft a bad taste in your mouth and made you feel a bit grim afterwards! Feeney could also teach a master class on how to end a chapter...WOW. This is how reading can keep you up all night!! I had to force myself to slow down and savor this book because I've been waiting so long to read it and I was so sad to see it end. The last killer twist was just the icing on the cake, and trust me when I say you will NOT see it coming! This is where the YAWN came in. I fell asleep as I slowly became more and more bored and disenchanted with this unlikable tale and woke up in the middle of some awful part about cats being captured and having their tails cut off. All of your questions are answered and again, it’s a book that BEGS you to reread the first chapter after the last, so you can see the clues you missed.Until very recently, Anna had been working in-studio, reporting the mid-day news, not trotting around in the field. What we don’t know.. Well, Baaah! Alice Feeney sure fooled me. That’s all I have to say about that. First off, not about the book but about the narration - it was super easy to realise who the killer was as though the voice was distorted, through the intonation and rhythm as well as some heavy handed tips. One thing I didn't like was the descriptions of animal cruelty. I understand that authors use this to make a point, but I really feel it’s unnecessary. That being said, I found the rest of this dark and unsettling tale gripping and entertaining. Nevertheless, I enjoyed His & Hers. It’s heart-racing. It’s addictive. It’s (mostly) smart. And it undoubtedly falls on the better end of the thriller spectrum.

Campo’s recent producing credits include “The L Word: Generation Q” at Showtime and the Apple dramas “See” and “Truth Be Told.” We gulped down this intense thriller in one heart-in-our-mouth afternoon – it's that good!’ Sun on Sunday Fabulous Cleverly plotted and tightly written, this deliciously dark thriller will leave readers breathless… Feeney’s best book yet’ Daily Express Honestly, that final twist and ending was completely ridiculous in my opinion. It was wayyy over the top and just didn't make sense to me???? A gripping debut with a brilliant twist, I LOVED it!” —BA Paris, New York Times bestselling author of Behind Closed Doors

This a mind blowing psychological thriller in every sense of the word!! If you are looking for a book that will keep you guessing at the “killer” until the very end, this is the one for you. I was convinced I knew what was going on until the very end, and I was very wrong!! The ending was great and tied up the novel brilliantly! This is the second book that I have read from Alice Feeney. The first one was ‘Sometimes I Lie’ which I gave 5 stars. But I liked this one even more!
