Well this was a fantastic walk down memory lane. Jesse Ward can be a very divisive lead character among readers, you either love him or loathe him, there is no grey area where the Lord of the Manor is concerned. I am definitely a lover. The problem, when these two have sex, there is a spark. And it’s hard to be unfeeling when a spark is there. Raya is mysterious and Drew doesn’t know much about her life. Raya has no clue Drew is a father. I just sat there… waiting for all this to unfold and see how it would turn out. I wanted these two together despite all the odds. You could truly feel their connection, and after all Drew has been through, he deserves to fall in love with someone worthy. Ava is just as devastated, but it doesn’t take too long for her to figure out how she feels about Jesse and their magnetic pull. She does struggle with his over protectiveness, but she realizes it is just how he is.
