All in all, I think these four blushes were a great place to start for me, a complete newbie at putting colour on my ghost child cheeks. It’s surprising how a blush, even a cheap one, can alter a makeup look. The first two swatches were done with a soft eyeshadow brush, with three strokes through the powder. The third and fourth were done using the same brush (but cleaned) and used 6 strokes. I’ve tried to keep the colours as true to my own eye-view as possible. Rose Gold is often labelled as the closest dupe for NARS ‘orgasm’, fyi, though I’ve never tried NARS blushers.Now coming to the BIG QUESTION, is it really a close dupe of NARS’ BIG O???? umm…mm, I really cannot comment on that, as I don’t own a NARS blush to do a comparative swatching , but from whatever I have seen and researched on the net, I can tell you that it surely belongs to the same genre as of NARS orgasm blush. Sleek MakeUP’s blushes are a great range to try if you’re new to wearing blush. Rose Gold is extremely pigmented and doubles up as a great highlight. In the beauty blogging world Rose Gold is known as a dupe for Nars’ Orgasm. If you’re looking to save money then get Rose Gold. If you’re new to highlighting, Rose Gold is great for adding light to the high points of your cheekbones, tip of your nose and cupid’s bow (my favourite places to highlight).

Now, I am a lot more confident. I’m still not a pro at application, but I do have 3 very pretty, dusty pinks, and one that was definitely an impulse buy, in my make up collection. Just to add a little bit of colour to my cheeks in the winter time. Coming to the product, the shade Rose Gold is a beautiful peachy-pink with golden shimmer in it. The shimmer in this blush is intense, but not really chunky or glittery. The quality of the blush is superb, blends very easily and doesn’t get chalky, powdery at all. Also, these are superbly pigmented, has amazing colour payoff so you need to start with taking just a little amount on the blush. The shade Rose Gold provides a pretty highlighting effect to the cheek bones which looks fabulous (night time/party makeups). About staying power, I can say it survives/remains intact on my cheeks for a good 3-4 hours at least. Here’s to all the individuals. It isn’t as pigmented as the Sleek blushes, but the colour is pretty nonetheless. I think this blush would go amazingly well with both natural and warmer make-up looks, as the colour is very subtle on the cheeks, but still quite buildable. It blends nicely, and has no shimmer at all, which lends itself to the more natural side of things. Apple Pinkis the peachiest of the blushes, it’s a little glossy at first glance, but that’s generally due to the cream nature, and doesn’t leave a sheen or anything similar on the cheeks once it’s blended out. It’s a very similar shade to Pink Cloud, as you can see in the swatch, just a smidge darker. Apple Pink also has the tiniest amount of shimmer, really nothing as noticeable as Rose Gold, but shimmer enough to add to the ‘dewy face’ look that is extremely popular in South Korea. Sometimes I am a little disappointed with the pigmentation, but all blushers are buildable, so that isn’t a major issue. Overall, I like this product a lot and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for shimmery blush with a decent price. I especially love Life’s a Peach and Sahara as they are great shades to use to sculpt my face. Wearing blush on the high points of the cheekbones adds more definition and helps to make my face look less round 😛 Flushed is also very pigmented and when applied with a light hand is very flattering.
