Description

Apple AirPrint allows full colour, top-quality printing from iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads directly from within many Apps available from the Apple App Store. The Samsung Xpress C1860FW has a paper capacity of up to 250 sheets, reducing the need for frequent paper refills. It also supports automatic duplex printing, saving both time and money by printing on both sides of the paper. The Samsung Xpress C1860FW is capable of printing, scanning, copying, and faxing documents, providing users with a wide range of options for their printing needs. It offers a maximum print resolution of up to 9600 x 600 dpi, ensuring crisp and clear print quality. While Samsung doesn’t make any claims for photo quality, we managed to achieve that on photo paper. AirPrint enables users to print wirelessly from within applications on Apple devices to AirPrint Compatible Printers connected to a wireless network. You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to easily print via Airprint without the need to install drivers or configure the printer queue. Just tap 'print' and select your AirPrint compatible printer, and print!....It's that simple.

We reserve the right to verify or ask for written proof of a competitors offer before we beat the price. There’s also a multi-purpose feed, but it’s quite a business to use. Normally, a single sheet feed is a slot in the front of a printer where you can feed letterheads or envelopes. Here though, you have to remove the main paper tray and slide the one-off media into place, before replacing the tray. It makes it hardly worth using. Samsung has added an impressive list of connectivity options. You can use direct USB, wired Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct, and Near-Field Communication ( NFC). We tested the NFC tap-and-print capability with a Samsung Galaxy S5, and found it worked well. Samsung includes a separate setup poster for setting up NFC, and you’ll need to get the Samsung Mobile Printing app on your phone to use this feature. NFC adoption isn’t widespread, so unless your mobile device offers it (mainly modern Android models like the Galaxy S5), it’s not a feature that’s going to push you in the direction of purchasing this particular MFP. There are also a wide variety of third-party apps available to enable wireless printing through Apple devices, even to machines that are not natively AirPrint compatible printers. By sharing a printer installed on an Apple Mac or Windows Pc over a wireless network any printer may be able to take advantage of the AirPrint features. (An additional third-party app may be required to be installed on the local machine) Due to extra insulation, the C1860FW comes in a giant box. Included is a CD with drivers for printing and scanning (Mac and Windows), a setup poster, power cord, and another setup poster for establishing NFC. The four toners are already installed in the MFP. WarrantyThe omission of auto-duplexing is a real feature gap for its intended users, especially considering the price. To take advantage of AirPrint, your compatible printer must be connected to the same wireless network as your iOS device or Mac computer. In front of the scanner, occupying about two thirds of the printer’s width, is a control panel featuring a 110mm colour touchscreen, which handles most of the machine’s controls. The exceptions are Start and Stop buttons and a number pad for fax number entry and secure printing.

The Samsung C1860FW comes with USB and gigabit Ethernet connections, but to get the most use of its facilities, you need to connect it wirelessly. You then have network printing, but also direct print from mobile devices, which benefits from the tap and print facilities provided by NFC. Printerland cannot match the price where a manufacturer or distributor sells directly to the public If you have selected recycling, please ensure your existing appliance is disconnected (and defrosted where relevant) before our team arrive. This multifunction colour printer looks bulky with an industrial frame that weighs 21.45kg and measures 16.5 inches wide, 16.8 inches deep, and 17.6 inches deep. Its centrepiece is the 4.3-inch colour touchscreen on the user-friendly control panel. The Samsung Xpress SL-C1860FW runs on 256MB of memory and is powered with a 533MHz dual CPU processor. High-speed USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi are the main interfaces along with a direct USB host port. The input feeder can handle 250 sheet while the bypass feeder can handle one sheet at a time. Up to 100 sheets of paper can be handled by the output bin. There is also a 50-sheet automatic document feeder. Advantages

How do I refill a Samsung toner?

The control panel takes up almost the full width of the unit. One of the reasons for this is an impressive 4.7-inch color LCD touch-panel that’s easy to navigate and makes using the device intuitively simple. To the right of the display is a numeric keypad and the typical buttons associated with a machine that prints, copies, scans, and faxes.

This printer is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi connection, allowing users to easily print from their mobile devices or connect to a wireless network. It also supports NFC (Near Field Communication), enabling users to simply tap their compatible mobile device to the printer to initiate printing. As with many printers and MFPs these days, the C1860FW has WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), which lets you set up the Wi-Fi connection with a press of a button, if your router or access point supports this feature What’s in the box Where special offers provided by Printerland and/or the manufacturer applies, the competitor must also be providing the same offer/s for the
