Before you begin, ensure that any nearby areas have been covered encase overspray occurs. Any overspray that may occur should be cleaned up immediately with water and household detergent.

With a promise of 6 year weather protection on wooden surfaces, this water based paint takes approximately 8 hours to dry and covers up to 12m² per litre on average. Easily applied with a brush, roller or sprayer, this beautifully designed paint is available in 2 sizes including Cuprinol Garden Shades 1L and Cuprinol Garden Shades 2.5L. For optimum results, a maximum of 2 coats is generally required. It should be applied in temperatures above 5°C and when rain is not expected. Stir thoroughly before and during use and apply either by brush or sprayer, brushing in the direction of the grain. A minimum of 2 coats should be applied on the same day, no more than 8 hours apart. If this is not possible then lightly sand between coats to assist adhesion of the next coat. Allow a few days before subjecting to heavy use or using soft furnishings. Clean tools with water.
