Each smaller, minor character is carefully and well written, which makes for such an enjoyable reading experience, and I don’t think that I’ve reacted so strongly to a fictional death since Will Herondale (which means a lot).

Another major change in Assassin's Creed III was transitioning the parkour and freerun systems to work in the natural woodlands of 18th-century Massachusetts and New York.So even I’m still trying to figure out how I did not read Tower of Dawn immediately after its September 2017 release. Yes, Chaol is my book boyfriend, but I also love Dorian for his caring nature and how different he is from the king. The main story is set in Paris during the French Revolution, and follows Assassin Arno Dorian as he attempts to avenge his foster father's death at the hands of the Templars, which leads him to discover an internal conflict between the Templars as a result of the Revolution.

I felt like the main character was told so many times that if she kept on her path she would face consequences, and she spurned their advice.It would have been really interesting to see her survive and escape to the South, especially since she was low-key part of the resistance with Ren and Tower of Dawn takes place in that setting . I’ve decided not to reread The Assassin’s Blade at the moment because I actually have a pretty decent memory of the short stories in that book. Complete and unabridged, this beautifully designed character edition celebrates Sam Cortland by highlighting his name in Avery River Teal ink.
