The HA23 is an Ultra Compact AA Headlamp with a max output of 250 lumens and a wide-range 150° flood beam. The HC68 can also use two CR123A lithium metal non rechargeable batteries or two rechargeable RCR123A lithium-ion batteries, however the turbo setting is unavailable if you are using these batteries and they also cannot be charge inside the torch. SST40 focused light is good for hiking, 1x SST40 floodlight can be used at camping, and red light is good especially in summer (it doesn’t attract insects).
Additionally, the Nitecore HC68 features Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR), memory function and a built-in power indicator.The flood beam is very wide and homogeneous, while maintaining a sufficient amount of throw capability; the same goes for the spot beam: throw focused, but maintaining a good spill, both in terms of brightness and width. Like a lot of other headlamps in their stable, the HC68 has multiple sets of emitters, but this time with a bit of a twist – being able to ramp from a flood mode to a “spot” mode.
Nitecore HC68 has a light output of 2,000 lumens and is powered by a 18650 lithium battery that can be recharged via the USB-C port.
