We would agree on a way forward then I would create a spreadsheet template for the contributor to complete unless it was one of my core contributors who is a data geek and analyst – you know who you are! It's certainly an interesting collection, but after reading it I'm not sure that it has much aided the deepening of my understanding of the bible. I believe this book is for people of all ages and backgrounds, whether you’ve never read the Bible before or have read it a million times! I would absolutely recommend “The Infographic Bible” to anyone wanting to enhance their Bible studying, and better understand Scripture.

The Infographic Bible’s aim is to do both: to create a visual image and then support that graphic with text that can be understood by anyone who picks up the book. I love detail, meaning and purpose, which is why I love infographics, everything on the page has meaning and purpose down to the minutiae. The Good News Youth Bible features accessible notes, a YouTube playlist, reading plans, book introductions and even space for journaling and doodling! Contributing to this is that the colors chosen for many of the fonts do not contrast well with the page background.

At times I would approach them with an idea of what I wanted that subject to show, at other times I simply had to ask the contributor to talk about their subject. This is a great resource for anyone interested in the facts and figures about Biblical people, places, and events. Plus, when I shared Prof Tufte’s challenge for us to see with fresh eyes, I doubt many of you were thinking about revisiting the Bible. I will go back to it again to see which prophecies were fulfilled during Jesus' life, death, and resurrection.

No matter what your level of journal-using proficiency is, this amazing journey with Jesus will no doubt be notable! That can often look like being a pain or sometimes be mistaken for perfectionism, but for me excellence is life giving!From the intro the author says that this book is meant to point towards the Bible and encourage readers to go read the Bible.
