The Play Acoustic loops extremely similar to the Vocalist; however, the amount of time you can loop for is shorter. Say, room reverb on guitar and cathedral reverb on vocal, saved, hit switch to next saved, say, ambient reverb on guitar with hall reverb on vocal.

But im starting to like this unit more and more, especially since it seems you can actually adjust the individual paremeters like on play acoustic. Harmonies also good, but like with play acoustic have to be kep low, i keep mine at 20% and just use the octave higher to give a more richer vocal tone. Have checked this boss ve8 thing since my thread about looper for acoustics, and seen several videos of demos.
