A Psychomancer cryptek leads the force, with a unit of 10 Necron Warriors and three Scarab Swarms making up the durable centre. The real killing work falls to a Lokhust Heavy Destroyer, three Ophydian Destroyers, five Flayed Ones, and two huge Canoptek Doomstalkers. Many of these units recently received the CORE keyword as part of the Balance Dataslate, and enjoy a new lease of life.”

In terms of “theme” this is a slightly weird box – the Impulsor feels a bit shoved-in when everything else is an infiltrating Phobos Marine, since those don’t generally ride in transports. The rest is pretty strong though, with an Infiltrators/Incursors box, Reivers, and an Invictor Tactical Warsuit all led by a Phobos Captain.

Few creatures in the Mortal Realms feed with such gory abandon as the monstrous Vengorian Lords. These bestial vampires may have discarded their noble facade, but they are still capable commanders who can control entire legions of the undead.
