Perfect for free diving without scuba gear: the watch is water resistant up to 20 bar according to ISO 22810. I doubt that I will bother to have the gaskets replaced. My Casio calculator/databank/alarm watches have not been water resistant, presumably because of their numeric keypads. My most recent DBC-32 watch probably stopped working after 7 years because I had washed the watch many times -- my mistake.)
