Clint is a broken man with strict principles and demons that cause him nightmares. His pride won't allow him to tell Mindy the truth behind his brokenness. Just when I thought I was going in the right of the direction of the plot, the mayhem veers off someplace else! For all the heartbreak, and infuriating stubbornness that seems to weave its way into these characters mindsets, even if they think they're doing the right thing. Gah! ( or maybe it's just me, it has been known to happen < clears throat looks away. >) There is copious of wittiness, fun banter, to downright scorching heat- I am talking~ hey, now where did that man come from... and can we have some more of that..?! Along with some pretty sage advice from a teenager here n there that makes me think maybe my teen is capable of ... NAH! Not possible! Just a good reminder of WHY I do read fiction! Ha. Little does John know that his daughter has had a big crush on Conner since she was about 15 years old. Additionally, nobody is aware that Conner is now totally infatuated by the now-20 year-old Marie. She‘s all grown up and beautiful. His alpha tendencies have his mind and body responding to her like a man obsessed. Whilst he values his friendship with John and Kath, he’s determined to make Marie his, in every way. This story had my attention from the beginning. Some of the issues were real-life situations that one may face, heartbreaking and heart wrenching. But the HEA made it all worth it in the end.

This story was first incredibly sweet for a mafia story. I LOVED the FMC & MMC together. While the story definitely has darkness, there’s also a lot of sweetness & care to balance it out. This is definitely one of my favorites of this series. There’s lots of arguing and disappointment, hurt and betrayal as John and Conner disagree over the situation. But they eventually come to a decision based on their mutual love for Marie and her well-being. And there’s a couple of other surprises as well.. I give this book four and a half steamy stars. There’s lots of secrets that are slowly revealed and the story is incredibly captivating. I literally couldn’t put it down and it’s now after midnight that I’m writing this review 🤣Recently I wrote a song about men like Wayne. Men who love most of their kids. Men who summer in Thailand, but they're not like all the other johns. Men who don't give blood. Because they won't give blood. The song is called Dad's Best Friend because most people have dads, and lots of dads have friends, and some of them are like that. I'm not saying that most men watch hardcore porn in the shed while their wives put the children to bed, but we all know one who definitely does. You see, Mr. Potter was her best friend, Lily’s dad. She’s dark haired, big green eyes and might be responsible for half the sophomore class having unachievable standards. Peter, she says, is the first boy to treat her like more than a priceless painting or a dainty glass figurine. Only Peter knows the stubborn, brilliant mind that would rather have her arms covered in grease while she rebuilds a carburetor in her dads customs shop than take part in things like dance or music like a normal teenage girl. Not that Peter has much room to complain, not when Mr. Stark wears less and less layers as New York is blanketed in summer heat. Language: English Words: 26,371 Chapters: 9/? A story about finding your soul mate in a place that has the potential to light the rest of your life on fire and make you rethink every other aspect that makes up your world. It is also a story so full of misspellings, stunted, unintelligible prose, and sentence structure issues that you completely lose the joy of the story being told.

My mom shot me a nervous smile. She knows I've always wanted a cute gigantic house, now here it is. I have enjoyed writing my new show, George Carlin Saved My Life, as I have to find humour in tragedy. It's about me searching for my mother and going to southern California. Things didn't go well, and on the way to receive some bad news, I got mugged for some digestive biscuits I'd bought as a gift en route. On hearing the bad news I couldn't stop thinking about the biscuits.Blake used to be a best friend to her parents but Bonnie's mother's death drove them apart. Now learning that his old best friend is in financial trouble, he offers a maid job to Bonnie. When Bonnie comes to the interview, he knows with one glance that she is meant to be his. He refuses to let her go. However she won't let him close unless he tells the truth of his relationship to her father. Blake knows that her dad has been lying to her about her mother's death but he is uncomfortable about revealing her father's lie. The lie is keeping them apart. I really liked the way Raven reacted to/with their relationship. I thought she was going to be a deal breaker in this sweet/sexy romance and am happy with the way this all turned out at the end! Is the music coming from here? Maybe someone left it on. Because I think he would've told me if someone was on this floor. We all know him, or bits of him, and I think that's why I wrote the song. What's weird is, people tell me they can identify someone exactly like that. I'm not sure they can though. I suspect they only see glimpses of someone they recognise. The odds of them actually knowing someone who would rather fry an egg on a Travelodge iron than have dinner with his wife and her son are probably slim. This hasn't stopped people commenting on my song. This book is about Marie and Conner. She has returned home from college, and her parents John and Kath are going on an Alaskan cruise. Marie admits to her Dad that she thinks she may have a stalker, and he worries about her being home alone for three weeks while he and his wife are away. SO he asks his college best friend Conner to stay with Marie to keep an eye on her.

I accepted an ARC of this book for my review. I have to say that he title if the book didn’t really go with the story itself other than Andrew was Lanie’s dad’s friend. That didn’t play a very big role in the book in my opinion. Nonetheless, amazing as always!I walked past a movie room, arcade, eating place,& so much other things. I didn't have all of these things, but I had some of them. I made my way to the hallway that had rooms.
