Combined, these three features take the already versatile studio strobe to a whole new plane of utility and the PiXAPRO CITI600 with the ST-IV trigger does a fantastic job of it. In the months that I’ve owned mine, I can attest that the HSS functionality works perfectly without flaw. This having been said, the AD100 Pro isn’t the most powerful of lights, in fact, it is the least powerful of the AD range, meaning that it may not be what every photographer needs! If you require more power from your flash or need a burst of light to overpower the sun, this isn’t the flash for you! The old dome wouldn't have fit the new flash tube, it's a better design with a frosted front, so again a nice improvement and only a fix if you're insisting everything they've changed is a fix. These are all worthwhile improvements but if you don't benefit from them then good news you get to save half your money, you win either way.

With the built-in 2.4G wireless receiver, the Godox AD600 Pro is completely remote controllable thanks to the built-in Godox 2.4G wireless X system. When using in combination with the X1T or XPro triggers, the AD600 Pro can be adjusted, fired and controlled within a 100m range. 9 STOP RANGE IN 1/10 STOP INCREMENTSDue to its size, the AD100 Pro is a great light to hold and maneuver as you need. Because it is so light and small, it is perfect for squeezing into tight spaces and angles to achieve the perfect lighting. It can also be simply held in your hand and moved around accordingly which isn’t possible or can be uncomfortable with bigger and heavier lights.

With the standard reflector fitted, and the power dialled down to the lowest output possible, which is 1/256th and in standard mode, the colour meter gave us a reading of 5759k, which is within the promised +/-200k of the stated 5600k. I have to admit I was quite impressed even with the standard colour mode, particularly when the light has been dialled down to the minimum, which is where the greatest variance tends to occur.

Godox AD600 Pro TTL Witstro Flash Head Key Features:

I am very happy with the AD-600s and sold my Einsteins and the rest of my hodge-podge Bowens, Hensel, and Buff gear.

Using the standard reflector, and a Polaris Karat lightmeter, placed thirty inches from the front of the reflector, I recorded the following results with the meter set to a sensitivity of ISO200: The AD600Pro Witstro features a high-speed sync mode that works with shutter speeds up to 1/8000 seconds, offering flash durations from 1/220 to 1/10,100 seconds. Another unique setting is its Stable color temperature mode, which tightly controls color to keep temperature changes within ±75K across the entire power range. Despite these impressive characteristics, it manages to keep recycling times low at 0.01-0.9 seconds for fast and reliable use, and is capable of 12 continuous pops at 1/16 power output. Finally, a 38W modeling lamp is available to help aid composition.

You can spontaneously Link to simultaneous multi camera systems! Shoot Nikon and Canon at this same time and the XPLOR will automatically sense and respond accurately. Have one photographer use a Sony and the other a Panasonic, without a care to re-sync! The proprietary TTL and HSS enabled 2.4GHz R2 Radio Remote Systemtransmits atop a modern DSLR body with reliable TTL and pass-through to speedlights, plus laser AF assist. R2 transmitters work with the complete family of Flashpoint Zoom Speedlights, XPLOR600 Monolights and Streaklight Strobes with R2 TTL radio transceivers built right in.Add a R2 receiver to any legacy flash with a sync port and it too becomes part of the R2 Family! The incredible range of these compact and lightweight units as well as their integrated functions and features make them the first choice of professional photographers. Do you absolutely need to freeze the movement in your frame? Just choose a setting that will give you the desired flash duration and you should be good to go. Mount Both units feature a handle for positioning and adjusting while shooting. These handles are also removable, which is ideal if you need to save space while traveling.

Very consistent, and the slight change in decimal point is more likely down to the subtle movement of the meter during the test. Pretty much bang on.From Pro Photo to New Bee, we have you on the road to wireless independence. R2. World Passport to Everywhere. The controls are easy and clear and are displayed on the large, clear Dot-Matrix LCD panel. You can set all features with the Godox X1T, X2T and XPro triggers, which control the built in 2.4GHz Godox X System wireless receiver. It can be awkward to carry the CITI600 with a large modifier about on location. But if you can be bothered, it is more than worth the effort. The design and construction of the carry bag itself is sturdy, and the componentry fits snugly and securely into the pre-cut foam inserts. It is true that stereo equipment sold in pieces (radio, amp, cassette player etc.) was always better than an all-in-one set (I am 56 so I remember that). However, I must disagree when it comes to lights.
