I read Flawless in Beach Reads Box Set Volume 3 and was HOOKED. So of course I grabbed book 2 in the Chrstnut Springs series, and I fell EVEN MORE in love. I'm a goner for a good Cowboy story, and these Eaton boys fit the bill. It helps that the characters who are NOT Eaton's are just as loveable. I want a friend like Willa, she made me laugh out loud and just oozed cool.

Yet I’ve never felt more cherished than I do in his arms. Heartless🩵 is the 2nd book in the Chestnut Springs series and is about Willa and Daddy Cade. The book starts with Cade looking for a nanny for his son Luke, but the nannies he interviews are more interested in him than his son. Summer (our FMC from the first book) has the idea that her friend Willa could babysit Luke. Rhett: I think my brother’s words were: she’s clueless that a bunch of dumbass cowboys keep humping her leg when she walks past.Cade is a single dad to Luke and is is desperate need of a nanny for the summer while he tends to his ranch. He doesn’t trust easily due to his past and his five years old son is his entire world. When his brothers fiancé Summer recommends her best friend Willa. He was against the idea and when he caved he got a lot more than what he bargained for in a nanny.

I love how grumpy Cade is and I love watching Willa make him squirm and push all of his buttons. The age gap in this book is so yummy and the tension/build up to what Willa and Cade become is perfect. The flirtyness and banter is top notch and the spice??? Cade has absolutely no business being THAT hot.
