YMMV, as treble perception is not uniform; it is dependent on hearing health/ age, volume played at ( Fletcher Munson curve), ear anatomy ( pinna gain), sources, and ear tips. The first thing that I noticed with the 7Hertz Timeless is the bass - the sheer quantity of it. While I like sub-bass and a decent amount of mid-bass (Dusk, Clairvoyance), the Timeless I feel overdoes it. You can make do some of that with the right eartips for a better balance. Your brain can adjust to the additional mid-bass offered by Timeless. The 14.2mm Dia. Miniaturized Planar Magnetic Driver of the 7HZ Timeless AE is able to produce pretty fast, controlled and nicely textured bass notes, from the subbass up to the midbass area. The Timeless AE is maybe not a giant killer in terms of technical performance in this area; however it can easily compete with many other IEM’s on the market in a price range between 250 – 400 USD. Sadly, there are no L and R markings on each end to identify the sides, but as per usual convention, the right terminal has a red marker. Case The provided case is practical and unobtrusive.

Fortunately, the 7Hz Timeless can take EQ like a champ. If you want some extra grunt and physicality in the bass, try adding a +4dB sub-bass shelf from 150Hz downward. This noticeably improved the slam factor and did not drown out the mids either due to fast transients and the low distortion driver. Adding some sub-bass shelf to the 7Hz Timeless. Midrange The cable sports a y-splitter and chin slider with a fancy shape, which are made from the same metal material like the connector housing.Well, I’m sure I need not emphasize that the S12 Pro utilize a custom 14.8mm planar magnetic driver. The Timeless certainly delivers some of that. I describe the planar "sound" as if all the sounds/tones/notes in their multitudes of layers, and instruments are eminating from a singular wave. Like a plasma The upper midrange of the 7HZ Timeless AE sounds nicely pronounced without to show any remarkable sibilance and sharpness when I do listen to female voices. Female voices like Adel, Diana Krall or Edith Piaf are reproduced in a quite musical, lively and detailed manner, which I have very enjoyed. Instruments on the on the other hand do have a relative natural timbre. This unit has been provided to me as a part of a review circle in my country organised by HiFiGo and thanks to the team for adding me in. This review is my observations over the product after using it for a period of time hence no one influenced me to manipulate this review. My observations are based on my sources of pairing hence this might differ from person to person.

The shells are made of aviation grade aluminum, CNC machined to resemble a spaceship. The choice of material has a lot to do with sonic tuning as it is for aesthetic reasons. Nonetheless the result is a beautifully constructed IEM that impressed me a lot.the soundstage is something I deal with much more and ill link my little playlist that I put up its on youtube music but is missing a lot of songs I have flacs of. The detail I would say is also slightly better on the Timeless in comparison to the S12, although there is very little in it. The S12 seems to be a little more smoothed over in the treble department, which does affect the sensation of detail, but I still think that the Timeless has the edge here. The mids of the Timeless is by far the best part of its tuning. It’s extremely well balanced and with a great purity of tone, especially for vocals. Midrange focused instruments are excellent on the Timeless, with a very natural voicing all around. Vocal harmonies are standout. The Timeless has the ability to effortlessly highlight both vocal harmony and melody at the same time, clearly separating individual vocalists while seamlessly blending their voices together in chorus. I can’t recall the last time I heard an IEM in this lower price class strike me as so enjoyable in the mids right out of the box. There’s sufficient bass texture too, giving bass guitars and synth bass some extra character and shape. For the bassheads out there, the Timeless doesn’t reach that quantity by default but it responds to EQ well. So you can comfortably boost the bass level without fear of distortion. I won't attempt to do a full comparison to the TinHiFi P1 since it has been a while, but one thing I can say for sure is that the tuning on the Timeless is much more palatable and less fatiguing than the P1.

Justin Vernon’s vocals sound just amazing and powerful, while Taylor’s voice is just bit frayed, soundstage too close a better comparison would be the Stellaris which loses to it a little bit 8cm up down, 2cm to the sides.Even though the S12 Pro are not the most comfortable pair, I actually had more fit issues with the Timeless. Considering that the Timeless are also more expensive, I would choose the S12 Pro between the two. Vs Tangzu Audio Zetian Wu

Because of its fairly demanding power requirements, the P1 is less accessible than the Timeless. The Timeless will run fine from practically any source while the P1 needs something quite powerful to perform optimally. ConclusionThe staging on the other hand is mixed - the width is decent, but the depth is stictly below average. I wasn't able to appreciate layering in music. The bass pressure further congests the stage to a noticeable extent and separation suffers. So I can recommend Timeless strictly for casual listening only. The Timeless has great bass extension – something larger planar drivers tend to excel at. It can dig deep, hitting those ultra-low notes with apparent ease and even enthusiasm. The Timeless has some great and physical albeit strictly controlled sub-bass rumble.
