It’s not like Allie’s religion is a secret, exactly. It’s just that her parents don’t practice and raised her to keep her Islamic heritage to herself. Never Have I Ever Season 1 Review: Fresh take on teen drama", The Times of India, archived from the original on September 2, 2022 , retrieved September 2, 2022

Take a bunch of regular women...wives, moms, adjuncts and administrators, professors, librarians and a dive instructor, and add into the mix one usurping stranger. One usurping stranger who exudes an attractive air of danger, who encourages confidences. She plays a dangerous and deadly game, one where only she knows the rules, Never Have I Evercenters on an Indian-American girl trying to navigate millennial life while also coping with a massive tragedy. With storylines focusing on the ups and downs of friendships, first loves, and all-around teenage angst, the show is pressing all the right buttons for anyone still missing the glory days of Malcolm In The Middle. Sixteen-year-old Ana is a poet and a lover of language. Except that since she moved to New Jersey from Argentina, she can barely find the words to express how she feels. Filled with fascinating characters, an engaging plot, and twists that I NEVER saw coming. I thought the story was well-paced with perfect timing, and I loved how it all came together in the end.

Success!

Perfect Mexican daughters do not go away to college. And they do not move out of their parents’ house after high school graduation. Perfect Mexican daughters never abandon their family. Soon Mark feels emboldened to engage with voters—and even start a new romance. But with an investigative journalist digging into his past, a father trying to silence him, and the bully frontrunner standing in his way, Mark will have to decide which matters most: perception or truth, when both are just as dangerous. Nandan’s got a plan to make his junior year perfect, but hooking up with his friend Dave isn’t part of it—especially because Nandan has never been into guys.

Michael Cimino as Ethan Morales (season 4), a rebellious high-school senior whom Devi briefly dates On Valentine's Day, a compatibility test reveals that Devi is compatible with Eric while Paxton is compatible with Haley, engendering Devi's jealousy towards Haley. Later, Devi and Eleanor have dates with Paxton and Trent respectively for Valentine's Day, but their perception of their boyfriends is damaged.
