The Writing Rainbow offers a complete view of ‘The Write Stuff’ methods and systems. In the Enable section pupils write their own sentences, taking the opportunity to deepen the moment. ‘Deepen the Moment’ is where children are challenged to independently draw upon previously learnt skills and apply them to their writing during that chunk.

Learn The Write Stuff approach through a one day training course with creator, Jane Considine. You will spend the day learning the system amongst like-minded teachers and those within the teaching profession. You will be armed with the tools and techniques needed to implement the system immediately into your classroom.The Large Writing Rainbow symbols are a set of 27 brightly coloured classroom resources, measuring 28.5 cm in diameter, that mirror the writing lenses found on Jane Considine’s Writing Rainbow. By using these lenses, teachers can focus on a particular aspect of the Writing Rainbow. Pupils can then incorporate that lens in their planning and writing activities during the lesson. This allows them to become more confident on the range and repertoire of aspects to showcase in their independent writing.
